About me
I’m a 36 year old lesbian professional. I’ve lived in this house for 4 years and want to put my barely used spare room to better use.
I work 4 days a week and am out of the house one or two days each week, I work from home the rest of the time. I work in a legal role in the public sector.
Outside of work I’m a long distance swimmer and spend a lot of time in the pool, sea or in the gym. I’ve been a triathlete and coach at a club. I am also a governor at a school and sing in a big choir.
I have a 3 year old cocker spaniel called Willow who absolutely loves people and will adore you. It’s essential that you are comfortable with sharing a house with a dog. She is gentle and quite well behaved but has a cheeky streak!
About the property
It’s a 3 bed mid terrace over 3 floors. I have the bedroom on the top floor where there is also a bathroom. Your room is above the kitchen on the first floor and you have a shower room on your floor. My office is also on the first floor but has two single beds for occasional use.
The bathrooms and kitchen are recently renovated and in fairly good condition. A cleaner comes once a fortnight to do a clean of the whole property.
The house has a front and back garden, both of which need some work as they are overgrown. Now the kitchen and bathrooms are done, they are my next job.
On the ground floor are a kitchen and living room.
The council tax band for the property is D.
All bills are included in the cost of the room, including the cleaner, broadband and council tax.
About you
I have put female as a housemate preference but this is an LGBT+ household and I welcome trans and non binary people too (spare room doesn’t have an option for that).
I’d like someone who Willow and I get on with. As you can see, I’m busy and will be out a fair bit but it would be nice to see you occasionally for a meal!
I will conduct interviews before deciding on the right person to take the room and I will seek short references.
