I’m letting my double room (with en-suite!) in Battersea from 11th October as I’m moving out of the area.

The flat is in a great location, on the south side of Battersea Park (at the pear tree cafe in less than a minute, 3ish mins to Battersea Park station, 10ish to the Northern line at Battersea Power Station) and has tonnes of shops and restaurants/bars nearby. There’s also a private road at the back for parking which is a massive bonus!

The room will come unfurnished as I’ll be taking my things with me, but it’s a really generous size with tonnes of built in storage, and plenty of room for a desk.

The flat itself is really light and airy but I like to think we’ve made it pretty cosy, it’s got a really nice kitchen with lots of storage space and a dishwasher. Washer/tumble dryer are in the main bathroom but is very modern and efficient.

You’d be sharing with Sophie, who I’ve known for years - She’s really lovely and has been an absolute pleasure to live with! Ideally looking for someone in their mid twenties who’s just quite chilled, tidy, up for the occasional night out/evening in but also not overly invasive of space etc etc.

The lease on the flat runs until December 2026, and the flat is let through Peter Jones who have been incredibly responsive with any queries and are just generally very reasonable letting agents. As per the lease agreement, the room is be £1355 for rent, and bills are normally in the realm of £120-£150. Standard referencing will apply, I’ll be paying the name transfer fee. The security deposit is £1384 and is covered under the deposit protection scheme.
