Description
The flat is a stone’s throw from Battersea Park! I’ve been living here since September and will be staying until the end of January. I'm looking for someone cool to replace my flatmate, who has unfortunately moved out. The room is available from October 1st, but the start date is flexible.
Rental period:
The contract runs on a rolling two-month basis. I'm moving out at the end of January due to the end of my work contract, so ideally you'd be looking to stay until then too. However, if you'd like a longer tenancy, you’re welcome to stay on and either find a new flatmate or potentially arrange a longer-term lease with the landlords.
About the flat:
It’s a split level that occupies the top floors of the building. There’s a small landing at the bottom at the entrance (not pictured) that includes built in shelving for shoes, and another landing with coat hooks and a small table.
The landlords previously used the flat as an AirBnB, so everything is included and move in ready. A bed, mattress, pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. are all provided.
Your room:
Your room occupies the top floor and includes wardrobe space, storage, and natural light. My room is on the main floor so we have plenty of separation and privacy (!)
About me:
I'm clean, quiet, and respectful. I moved to London for work, but do really enjoy the city and am spending my free time exploring it. My free time is usually spend exploring the city by bike, going to pubs or visiting museums. I am also fan of the outdoors. I’m in the office everyday so you’d have the place to yourself during the day if you’re WFH. There’s a nice desk in the living room that is all yours to use for work.

The lease is a two month rolling contract. I am happy to ask the landlords if they would like to extend to a six month or longer contract, but the flexibility of a shorter lease can be nice. Rent includes bills + council tax and WiFi.
