Affordable cosy double room in Battersea

Hi there, We have a double room to fill in a furnished 3 bedroom flat in a great location in Battersea. 

Available from 16 November

The Room: 

A cosy furnished double room with lots of storage. It has recently had new carpet laid and the walls re-plastered and painted. In summer you’ll get the lovely afternoon sun hitting it also.

The Flat: 

You’ll be sharing with Nadine (kiwi) and myself, Mengfei (Chinese). Nadine is a teacher and I work in theatre production and we both enjoy calling this space our home. We both work in the office Monday to Friday and would prefer if you do too. We both have varying schedules, but enjoy watching the occasional movie in the living room together, sharing our day over a wine, or heading to a local pub. 

We both like to keep the flat tidy and clean and as it has been recently re-carpeted we try our best to leave our shoes at the door. 

We are both friendly and easy-going girls that ideally are looking for another professional person who doesn’t work solely from home, and wants a nice, cosy, calm and clean space to live in. 

In terms of facilities we have a lovely living/dining space that gets the morning sunlight, a small balcony that looks over our building grounds, 
1 x bathroom (you would be sharing a bathroom with one room-mate) and an extra toilet room, dishwasher, washing machine and good wifi. 

Bills will vary between summer and winter but are approximately £120 per month (electricity, water, wifi) 

Parking is available with a permit from Wandsworth Council at your own expense. Bike shed is also available through our building at your own expense.

- 3 min walk to many convenient buses
- 15 min walk to Clapham Junction Station
- 10 min walk to Battersea Park
- 7 min walk to Battersea Square
- 5 min walk to local Sainsbury’s
