Description
We have a lovely double room available in our split level flat in the heart of Clapham Junction. Our housemate is moving away to Ireland to start a cooking course and so we are looking for a female housemate to take her room.
ROOM
Cosy and very light double room on the first floor of our split level flat. It comes furnished with a double bed, a built in desk and ample storage (wardrobes, chest of drawers, under bed storage and drawers above the bed). The room comes with private use of own bathroom which includes a power shower and some built in shelving.
FLAT
The flat is split across four levels, with a large sitting/dining area and a bright kitchen complete with gas hob and modern appliances.
The flat has two other bathrooms, so there is never any cross over with other housemates. As well as storage in the room itself, there is some built in storage in the attic if needed.
We have an outside terrace at the top of the flat- a real sun-trap- perfect for sunbathing in the summer or for enjoying a glass of vino on a warm evening.
LOCATION
The flat is in an amazing location, there are great transport links- multiple bus routes and we’re a 6 minute walk from Clapham Junction station. We’re on a quiet street just off Lavender Hill.
Clapham Common and Battersea park are both a stone’s throw away, and we have the Northcote Road and Clapham
Old town on our doorstep. It really is a lovely place to live.
FLATMATES
We are a friendly duo; spare roomers turned mates with shared interests in travel, music, wine and food. We both enjoy our own space too and so don’t shy away from a night in watching the Traitors. We are a Welsh gal (secondary English teacher) and a Manx lass (HR). We are tidy and considerate and treat this place as a home and are looking for someone who will do the same, preferably around our age group.
Rent is £900 per month and bills come to
about £150 per month, including a cleaner who comes every fortnight.
A deposit of £1038.46 is required and
references will be needed.
