Hey! We are looking for a housemate to join our lovely friendly 5 bed house in Battersea!
We are walking distance from Battersea Park, Queenstown Road and Clapham Junction Station as well as Battersea Power Station. The area has great bike paths around used by many of the housemates.
Tesco is only a 5 minute walk away.
The house has great common areas which we love to socialise in as well as a little courtyard to soak up the summer sun.
The room is furnished with a desk, bed frame, mattress and plenty of storage. Although, you will need your own desk chair if you require one.

The housemates include a mix of professional and postgrad students and genders between the ages of 24-33. We all enjoy cooking, fitness and a night out.
Water, electricity and gas is included and we all pitch in for council tax, wifi and a cleaner every two weeks. We have a washing machine and a dryer.

Single room available for £900 / month in a 5 bedroom house in Battersea, including gas, electricity, and water bills.
Close to the buzzing café society of Battersea Park Road, 5 minutes walk from Battersea Park and 20 minutes walk from both Battersea Power Station tube on the Northern Line and Clapham Junction. The house has been improved and rebuilt to the highest design and environmental standards by its Architect owner.

Entry to the house into the new lounge/diner with its full height glazed wall incorporates French doors that lead out onto the garden and enables a bright open living space. Features of this living space are: a natural birch ceiling, a 55 inch wall mounted TV, a 3 seater and 2 seater matching brown leather sofas and a six person timber dining table with matching chairs.
The living space leads onto the south facing courtyard walled garden with railway sleeper decking and BBQ is professionally designed and planted; it provides an oasis of calm and a great place to entertain and has its own separate entrance onto the street.

The living space is overlooked by a window from a separate kitchen which is fully fitted. The kitchen incorporates: a Miele Dishwasher, fitted Miele double oven and Cople 900 Watt microwave, Baumatic 5 ring gas hob and extractor fan, two large Baumatic and Groenje fridges and two new Neff freezers. Solid Spanish granite polished worktops and a matching honed granite floor and window cills provide elegant designer living and surfaces that are easy to keep clean. The new kitchen units include 5 lockable cupboards, one for each bedroom.

A separate adjoining utility room through a hidden door contains a large capacity hotpoint washing machine and separate Creda drier with an extractor to outside. The gas fired Johnson and Starley hot air heating system provides quick and efficient heating to the whole house. The instant Valiant gas fired hot water system provides instant hot water with a separate 200 litre tank. There is shelving storage on all walls.

All five bedrooms are south facing and have new, full height, aluminium double glazed doors fitted with solar control glass. Bedroom doors are modern Oak Shaker fire doors fitted with designer Stainless Steel ironmongery including bedroom locks. Each bedroom has a generous storage cupboard in the halls which are individually locked with the same key for each bedroom. All bedrooms have multiple electrical sockets.

Bedroom 2 - A 6.1 m2 single bedded room (first floor) containing timber framed bed with orthopedic mattress, integrated built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, shelving and desk.

The three designer bathrooms are new and fitted out to the highest quality. Bathroom fittings are imported from Porcelanosa in Spain, flooring is Italian Carrera marble, walls are a designer combination of Spanish Domus tiles and carefully placed mirrors, providing clean dynamic spaces with Mirrors wherever required.

Bedroom 2 is for rent for £900 per month on a 12 month contract for someone who will appreciate, enjoy and look after the unique modern design and garden.

The room will be on an individual HMO contract.

The house is furnished with sofas, TV, dining table and dining chairs, kitchen white goods as described above, desks and wardrobes as described above. Curtains are included in all bedrooms. Chairs in bedrooms are not included, nor are plates, cutlery or pots and pans.

Tenants to register and pay council tax and to contribute to the cost of WiFi.
