Hello 🙂 My flatmate Ben is moving out of our beautiful two bed flat in the middle of June and I am looking for someone to replace him.
The Flat
This is a two bed flat with two bathrooms - my room is ensuite so you will have the main bathroom to yourself! The flat comes fully furnished and fully equipped in terms of electrical appliances (fridge/freezer, washing machine, two coffee machines, electric vacuum, toaster etc.). There is a huge living room and loads of space to store your stuff. Also, there is a gated garden outside of the flat which is shared with the rest of flats in the building and it is amazing for sunny days and BBQs. Lastly, the flat has its own dedicated parking space in case you need it.
The Room
The room fits a double bed (Ottoman - with storage underneath) as you see in the pictures and there is a 3-door wardrobe as well and these you could potentially purchase off Ben or bring your own in. In the photos you can see the layout from both my current and my previous flatmate, so you can get an idea of how versatile you can be with the space. The shelves and TV mount could also be kept there if you wish to use them or the room can go back to how initially was.
The Area
The flat is located in the centre of a triangle between Battersea Power Station and the park, Clapham Common and Clapham Junction, in a quiet residential road where you have many options in terms of gyms/grocery shops etc. There is Tesco and Sainsbury’s nearby, a big Lidl and of course, M&S and Waitrose near Battersea Power Station.

- 1min walk to the bus station which takes you to Clapham Junction (just 25’ to Gatwick airport)
- 10min walk to Queenstown Road station (train)
- 13min walk to Battersea Park (train)

Current and Future Flatmate
I’m a 29 year-old scientist that mostly works in the lab and then weekends I like to spend out and about. I’ve been in this flat for three years now and while I like the occasional dinner and hosting friends over, the flat has mostly become a calm and relaxed space to unwind after a long day at work and the gym.
I’m ideally looking for someone with a similar lifestyle — someone who’s mostly working from the office and values a clean, easy-going home rather than a party flat. Occasional hosting is of course absolutely fine, but overall it’s a pretty chilled environment. Unfortunately not looking for couples either.
For some technicalities: Future tenant must meet a £36,000 gross annual salary requirement and have a permanent role contract (meaning with no end date). Moving in date should be on or after the 12th of June, following referencing.
I’ll be holding viewings in person and online starting 05/05 so please get in touch if interested!
