My amazing housemate is leaving after 7 years 😢

Hello, my name is Cathy and I have lived in Battersea since 2003. During this time I have completely renovated my Victorian terrace house and extended it. I have always been happy to have housemates to share it with. Quite a few lived here several years and have become good friends. Pietro is leaving the UK after seven years at mine for new opportunities abroad and he’s going to be very much missed. I am very sociable and easy going and would like a prospective housemate to be the same as this is a sociable house. I’m looking for a professional person who needs a home, not just a room to sleep in. I love exploring London and all it has to offer but equally happy walking along a beach. I love travelling and having weekends away. I like to have a chat/glass of wine/occasional meal (I do house dinners from time to time), but very respectful of people's privacy. I'm very good at cleaning and organising (so I'm told). The house is comfortable and well organised with three bathrooms (one of them is my ensuite so no queues in the morning) and a big extended kitchen with everything you could possibly want (but if something else is needed, I add it). The sitting room has comfortable sofas, a large TV with SkyQ, Netflix, DVD player, hi-fi (radio/CD's/Bluetooth can be played separately or together in lounge, kitchen and study, really handy if someone is watching TV in sitting room and someone else is cooking/ironing in the kitchen and wants music!) and the study has a desk with computer, a sofa bed for guests and storage space. We have very good WiFi throughout the house and I have also installed a water softener which cuts down a lot on cleaning products and shampoo/conditioner etc.. . The large bedroom on the second floor has a big double bed, laminated floors, wardrobe, chest of drawers and shelving, sitting area, nice TV with separate SkyQ box and DVD player. Bedding and towels are supplied unless you have your own. The patio is nice to eat there in the summer, read a book or share a glass of wine. Clapham Junction station is 5 minutes walk away, good bus service and the river and Battersea Park are 10 minutes walk from the house. We are not short of restaurants, pubs and bars and Clapham is walking distance or a bus ride away. The rent includes all bills, all cleaning products, washing powder, fabric conditioner, soap, loo rolls, moi making sure everything runs smoothly in the house but equally when I’m away, I need someone who will look after things. So come and have a look and have a glass of wine. PS: smoking in the garden is fine! My friends do!
