Description
Modern room available for one person in a flat shared with one other person in Battersea SW11 2QH, close to the River Thames and Clapham Junction train station.
Rent is inclusive of utility bills, council tax and Wi-Fi. The flat is on the third floor of four-story building built in 2005 with lift and landscaped private gardens. Located in zone two so transport costs to central London are low. I do not smoke and I will rent to a non-smoker only (including vapes).
Battersea is a popular residential area with many bars and restaurants. Trains to Victoria or Waterloo station are fast (15 minutes) and frequent and my flat is also a short 5 minute walk to the River Thames. A River Bus travels to central London providing the most relaxing commute possible and there are 24 hour busses. London Cycle Hire have placed a bike rental point at the end of my road and you can cycle to central London in 30 minutes.
The photo of the living room with balcony is my room and the bedroom is the room for rent. I have had a partition installed dividing my room from the kitchen so that it can be accessed without having to enter the living room. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, memory foam mattress,, fitted wardrobe drawers, bedside table, desk with chair and freestanding shelving. The flat is professionally cleaned every two weeks by a female cleaner. I appreciate clean and tidy tenants. A deposit of one month's rent is required.
When you message me, please tell me a little about yourself. I am an architectural photographer and work across London.
Information:
I really am an easy going flatmate but I appreciate respectful tenants. Please read the Q&A’s:
Q: I am a smoker, can I rent the room if I smoke outside, or if I smoke vapes only?
A: No. I want to rent to non smokers only.
Q: I am a very private person, can I rent and just maintain my own space?
A: No problem. Many tenants want to get away from HMO’s and crowds of people. Your privacy is guaranteed.
Q: If I rent can I move my partner in so they can live rent free with me?
A: No. I want one tenant only. If you want to live with your partner or friend please look for a landlord who is renting to couples. My flat is not big enough.
