Description
*we’re trying to get through all the messages this week when we’re together so please bare with us! It would be super helpful if you have an ad so we can easily read a bit about you*
Hi there,
We’re Ella and Jess and we live in a lovely 3 bed flat behind Battersea Park and 5 min walk from either Queenstown Road, Battersea Park station and 10 min walk from Battersea Power Station tube line (Northern line), and also fantastic bus routes outside flat which take you to Clapham (10 min), Brixton, Victoria.
Our flat mate is sadly moving back home so we are looking for someone to fill her double room by September 1st.
We are both 27, and are fun (we hope), sociable and enjoy going for a drink or two at Pear Tree cafe after work, watching tv in the lounge and an occasional bottomless brunch. That being said, we do appreciate personal space and each others alone time too.
I (Ella) am also an avid Classpass goer so would love someone to go to the gym/classes/on runs with if that's what you're also into, but we also love netflix marathons if you're not.
We both (and Hollie, our housemate moving out) met on SpareRoom 4 years ago so we know how great SpareRoom can be for making friends and that’s what we would like from this too!
Since meeting on SpareRoom 4 years ago our friendships groups have naturally intertwined and we would love nothing more than for our new housemate to be apart of that!
Deposit is £865
Rent is £785
Bills aren’t included but are roughly £100
The room is furnished with:
Bed & mattress (new)
Wardrobe (new)
The house has:
Dishwasher
Washing Machine
Heated rack
Microwave
Toaster
Toastie Machine
Milk frother
Slow cooker
Cutlery/pots pans - so you don't need to bring any kitchenware unless you want to of course!
Last but not least, a fully stocked bar in the lounge - we love to experiment new cocktails / have cocktail nights!
The only catch is, our housemate that's moving out is taking the TV with her so if you have a TV to bring that would be absolutely ideal! If not, we will definitely be looking into buying one so we can all watch some trash tv together on week nights.
The reason for the min and max stay being 7 months is our lease runs out 31st March so there is options for us to renew the lease!
