Double Room in Battersea

Hi all,

I'm looking for a new flatmate to join me in a two bedroom flat near Battersea Park as my current flatmate has just gotten herself on the property ladder. She had previously lived in the flat for 10 years if that's any indication that it's a cool place to live!

The room is a double with a built in wardrobe. There is a combination living room/kitchen and there is one shared bath/shower. We have a bi-weekly cleaner who comes to the flat, which helps with keeping things tidy. Electricity and water are included in the rent. Additional bills (Internet, Council Tax, and Cleaner) come to about £70 a month.

The building itself has a 24 hour porter as well as an indoor pool, gym, squash court, and an outdoor space (communal for the building) which is great for a BBQ. It's almost directly across the road from Battersea Park and about 15 minute walk to Battersea Power Station and the tube. Good bus connections to Vauxhall, Clapham Junction, and Victoria.

About me - I'm American/French, but I have lived in London for 9 years now. I work in heritage (currently in a botanical garden!) so I enjoy exploring all the weird and wonderful cultural things that London has to offer. My job is mostly site based, but I occasionally work from home so this room might suit someone who does the same.

In my spare time, I enjoy exploring London (Theatre, Museums, Pubs and more!), meeting up with friends, Spinning (there's a great Boomcycle next to the Power Station), dancing, and trying new types of food. Although I like going out, I also value my time at home, reading or watching Netflix (other streaming services are available). I'm a multifaceted woman!

Looking for a new flatmate who enjoys a casual pub evening rather than someone looking to party all the time. Ideally I would love to find someone who has their own life, but who is also up for being occasionally social in the flat over a cup of tea or a glass of wine.
