I’ve got a lovely double room available in a recently refurbished flat in Battersea, 5 mins walk from Battersea Park, great for long walks (or runs!), and a 7 min bus journey to Battersea Power Station, from which you can catch the northern line.

It’s also only a 20 min walk/10 min bus journey to Clapham Junction and St John’s Hill/Northcote Road, where you can stop off at one of the plentiful gyms, boutique shops, pubs, bars, restaurants and supermarkets including M&S and Waitrose. There are also some really nice eateries and a few pubs close to the flat, which you can take full advantage of!

In addition, Chelsea, South Kensington, Tooting, Victoria and Liverpool Street are all easily accessible by bus, and Clapham Junction has some of the best transport links across London and nationwide, either via overground or national rail.

The flat is on the 2nd floor with secure entrance including intercom and a lift. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, large sunny lounge-diner with double aspect windows and a balcony.

The stairwell has newly installed fire risers, and for added safety there is also a secondary fire escape, accessible from within the flat. Bike storage and visitor parking is also available within the grounds.

The room is a large double (3.8m x 2.85m) and comes with blackout blinds, double divan bed with 2 storage drawers and a brand new orthopaedic mattress, a 3-door wardrobe and bedside table.

You’ll be living with me, Georgia; I’m 34 and work for the NHS full time in a hospital (regular hours, M-F, no shift work). I'm easy going, clean, tidy and sociable and in my free time I like cooking, dance, yoga, museums, art, binge watching box sets/documentaries, pub quizzes, festivals, going for brunch/cocktails and generally anything science related.

I’m looking for a professional, respectful and sociable female flatmate 28+ (sorry guys!), who is clean, tidy and will do their share of the rota, ideally working out of the flat full time like me. The contract will be for 1 year with a 6 month break clause.

The room is available from 1st November onwards, with some flexibility on the date. Rent is £1150 pcm and includes water and council tax. The rest of the bills (TV license, broadband, gas and electricity) will come to around £100pcm depending on season.
