Description
Hello all, we're URGENTLY looking for a female professional (mid 20s - early 30s to fit with myself and another flatmate) to take over a room in our flat on Searles Close. Our flatmate is set to leave on 14th October but can also leave at the beginning of October if needed.
The proximity to the park, cafes, grocery shops, a bakery, gym and pilates studio are definitely great amenities! We also have access to a bike shed on the street.
As a household, we're quite calm, i. e. not organising parties, although we do have guests over sometimes. Our long distance partners also visit us. I work as a computational scientist in cancer research, whereas the other flatmate works in an architecture firm.
The flat has two levels, the bottom one consisting of a kitchen joined with a spacious living room and a small balcony where I do some gardening, and the upper floor with a bathroom and 4 bedrooms (1 is unoccupied for now).
The room fits a bed, a wardrobe and a small desk, and has a large window overlooking a community garden. The street is quiet and not facing a road.
The rent is 810£ + bills (currently about 100£ pp, we'll be sharing council tax), about 5 weeks' worth of rent is required as a deposit. We expect that the new tenant will be sharing the council tax (incl. In the bills calculation, we'reband D so 990£ per year for the flat). We have joint tenancy and the new tenant will be signing a change of sharer agreement to switxh with the leaving flatmate.
The flat is managed by an agency that also does reference check. You need to have right to rent, they will also contact the employer.
