Description

Combining the beauty of a Victorian terrace with modern luxury, right next to the stunning Battersea Park and within walking distance of Battersea Power Station Tube and Clapham Junction Overground, this enormous five-storey house is equipped with all modern conveniences, a large kitchen/dining room, multiple shared living rooms, a garden, a utility room, and even a cinema room!

There is a lovely double room available. It is a bright, quiet space with a bay sash window, full of beautiful solid wood furniture - a double bed, a bedside table, a chest of drawers, a desk, and a wardrobe. The adjoining bathroom has a bath and separate shower, and is shared with one other bedroom.

I've had housemates my whole life, and I'm at my happiest when sharing this amazing house with others.
We care passionately about the quality of experience that you'll have living here, and the rooms have been newly refurbished with that in mind. As live-in landlords, we are also on hand to address and put right any concerns you might have, and to help you feel at home, especially if this is your first time in London.

I am a pianist and Gabi is an artist. We combine working as teachers in the week with working freelance from home.
We're easygoing and have no particular requirements from our housemates, other than being tidy and respectful of others. So if you're up for cooking up a storm, a drink or two in the evenings, or just generally chilling out, then great. Similarly, if you prefer to keep yourself to yourself, that's totally fine too - the main thing is that you enjoy your time living here.

The house is on a quiet street and backs onto a private road, so is both very safe and peaceful. There is car and motorbike parking (residents permits easily available) on the road at the front of the house.

Gas, water and electricity are not included in the price as we believe in taking responsibility for our energy usage. However, splitting this six ways helps keep the costs down, especially given the recent price rises in this sector.
Broadband, council tax and a cleaner for communal areas ARE included in the rent.

Currently living here are:
JP, from the UK, who works as a concert pianist and piano teacher. I'll be taking a sabbatical through these 3 months, hence the short-term let.
Gabi, from Poland, who works as an artist and art teacher.
Liam, from Australia, who works in sports management.
Max, from Australia, who works as a bar manager.
Alex, from the UK, who works in recruitment.

The final members of our family are a trio of cats - Tilla, Tesla and Tinto - who are a constant joy!

We'd love you to come and have a look at our house if you're interested, so don't hesitate to get in touch - the place looks even better in person, and it would be great to meet you!

Hope to hear from you soon, and all the very best,
JP & Gabi
