Please note preference is to have a LGBT flatmate but not have visitors in the flat. Move-in date is from end of Jan onwards

This is an LGBT friendly household.

I live in this modern new built apartment and I am now looking for a flat mate for the second bedroom with its own bathroom. Gym/concierge included. Parking negotiable.

The flat has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a lovely balcony which comes off the open-plan lounge and kitchen. The kitchen has all the usual amenities (including a brand new dishwasher, microwave, cooker and oven) and also a utility cupboard in the hallway containing a brand new washing machine/dryer. You will have gym and concierge access included within the room price. Parking in secure gated car park bay available at a slightly increased rent with the room.

The flat is surrounded by amazing green spaces and Beckton Park, with amazing views across London. The site has a gym on-site and concierge service for us to use.

Royal Albert DLR Station (DLR) or Custom House Stn (Elizabeth Line) is just a brisk 15-20 min walk away and Beckton DLR Station is about the same (can get bus too). Elizabeth line takes you 5 stops (15mins) into heart of central London Tottenham Court Rd Stn. Alternatively, buses go from nearby to East Ham and Upton Park Underground Stations if preferred (District and Hammersmith & City Line). Direct buses also go to Stratford Westfield and Stratford International.

There's a Newham Active Gym which is very cheap and this is very nearby. Asda, Lidl and Sainsbury's supermarkets are all within convenient walking distance and there are some lovely cafes and the Excel Centre and Docklands area and Thames riverside with beautiful views of the City not too far away (if you enjoy stretching your legs and walking, which I do!).

For London, the Beckton area has lots of greenery and the flat is literally sitting right beside Beckton Park (hence why the development is called Beckton Parkside). The park has a huge pond (looks like a lake) with birds and ducks and beautiful green space. Its great for running, cycling and long walks.

The building also has a secure cycle store in the basement.

From Custom House Station (Elizabeth Line) you can get to Tottenham Court Rd Station in 15mins, from Royal Albert DLR Station you can get to: Bank within 21 mins, Waterloo within 23 mins, Old Street within 25 mins, Leicester Square within 32 mins, Kings Cross within 30 mins, Euston within 31 mins.

The fairly large bedroom is furnished with a brand new Ottoman bed and fitted wardrobes which provide more than ample storage hidden behind floor-to-ceiling mirrored wardrobe sliding doors. There is also plenty of space for a desk and chair. The room has access to its own bathroom.

All the furnishings in the apartment are brand new and of a very high standard. There is also very fast unlimited Hyperoptic super fast broadband.

The flat mate will be sharing with only myself, a professional guy working in the legal field in Contract Management. I work from home mostly with the occasional office visit as needed. Also prefer a flatmate who works predominantly away from the home so we can both have our own space as I work from home all week (however this can be discussed).

I like having the flat kept extremely clean and tidy and quiet and would expect the same from my flat mate. Other than that I am easy going, enjoy a healthy lifestyle, gym regularly, enjoy running, long walks, but I also enjoy good laughs, good food, good wine especially over the weekends. It would be cool to find someone who would consider the place as a home, enjoy drinks, dinner and respect each other's privacy as and when required.

Note: This is not party house, I do my partying outside of home at weekends, this is more of a come home after a hard days work, perhaps play some quiet music, have a drink, cook, watch some TV.
