The double bed has a comfortable orthopaedic mattress and padded leather headboard. Your Samsung Smart TV is brand new so you can watch movies or browse the internet from your bed ! NB - There is superfast WiFi throughout the flat.

The bedroom furniture is custom made from fair trade teak and there is plenty of storage space in both the bedroom wardrobe / cupboards and new white bathroom units.

THE APARTMENT :

Our beautiful spacious apartment has been completely renovated. The floors are hardwood or Amtico with stylish rugs. Each bedroom has been individually designed with Farrow & Ball colour eco paint and co-ordinated soft furnishings.

The large communal area with an open plan kitchen / dining area which has wall to wall sliding windows and roof lights that maximise the winter daylight and make it very bright and airy in the summer. You will have your own cupboard and half a fridge and freezer to fill.

The cleaner helps keep everything spic and span, though we are looking for someone who is clean and tidy and will add a minimal amount to her workload !

The utility room has a new washing machine and tumble dryer for you to use.
NB - Due to various allergies, including washing powder, we have a policy of Ecover and organic products in the washing machine and for general household cleaning.

We are a smoke free household with no pets.

AVAILABILITY :

The large double room is available for you to move in from 28 December, so please do not hesitate to get in touch.

RENT :

We are ideally looking for a full time lodger, however if you are looking to rent Monday to Friday do send us a message, for the right person, we would be happy to consider this option too.

THE AREA :

Belsize Park is a vibrant community with an array of independent coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and an Everyman cinema (with comfy seats and a great bar). There is a wonderful bookshop (Daunt Books), along with the small Antrim Road library and the huge Swiss Cottage library.

For your food shopping in Belsize Park you have a choice of Budgens or Pomona (organic fruit & veg) and also Morrisons (in Chalk Farm), Waitrose (on Finchley Road) and a Tesco just around the corner in England’s Lane.

The nearest gyms are the Swiss Cottage Sports Centre or The Armoury depending on your exercise preference.

All 791 acres of Hampstead Heath (with its open air swimming ponds) are a 15 minute walk away, and Primrose Hill is 10 minutes in the other direction, so you can go for a walk or a run before work or when you get home !

TRANSPORT CONNECTIONS :

The property is extremely well connected and is ideally located for all manner of transport into both the West End and the City.

TUBE : You have easy access to Zone 2 stations on both the Northern Line (Belsize Park and Chalk Farm tube stations are 5 minutes walk away) and the Jubilee Line (Swiss Cottage tube is 10 minutes away).

BUSES : There are numerous bus routes going directly to Euston, Waterloo; Finchley, Brent Cross; Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus, Aldwych; Notting Hill, Kensington, Westfield; Highgate, The Whittington, Archway. Bus routes #46, 168, 268; #C11 and # 13, 31, 82, 113, 187.

OVERGROUND TRAIN : Stations at Hampstead Heath (10 mins walk) or Finchley & Frognal (15 mins walk) connect to Richmond / Clapham Junction & Stratford, change at West Hampstead to connect with Thameslink for Luton & Gatwick.

ROAD LINKS / MOTORWAYS : The A41 (Finchley Road) passes Swiss Cottage; you can join the North Circular at Brent Cross (10 mins by car); the M1 starts at Staples Corner (15 mins drive away) and from there connect to the M25 / M40 / M4 / M11.

CAR : Once the flat becomes the registered address for your car, you can apply to Camden for a parking permit.
