I am reaching out with an offer to host a flatmate (ensuite + common room) in my apartment for a specific duration to be agreed on. My flat is located 200 meters away from the Belsize Park underground station.
The apartment is 80 m² and has two separate bedrooms, each with an extra king-size bed. There's a living room with a kitchen, two separate bathrooms each with its own shower, bath and toilet, and two terraces overlooking a communal garden facing southwest. The room currently being let has its own balcony overlooking a beautiful shared garden with household where you are allowed to smoke. Use of garden is however not allowed. The flat is on the first floor of a beautifully maintained Victorian house. All rooms have high ceilings adorned with stucco. The apartment was fully renovated last year to the highest standards, furnished with designer furniture and equipped with top-quality household appliances. On top of it all, even though I wont be living with you two, I am paying free of charge every week a cleaner who comes to clean the flat thoroughly, usually each Thursday. She has the keys so don't worry about leting her in, you will be given her contact number if anything.
My preferences and desires for a potential flatmate are as follows:
I am looking for a female aged between 25-38 years.
She should be a young professional. The current roomate is a 27 year old Junior Doctor in Orthopedic Surgery so she will be working most of the days at the hospital and coming late evenings home. Therefore, the flat is a great opportunity for someone working from home remotely as well. All bills included in price. The room being let has its own large desktop and working area with a comfy chair. In terms of storage in the room, there is a vast amount - the large floor to ceiling wardrobes are made to be enough storage for even a family of 3-4 people. Your bathroom is integrated in the room itself so no need to go through any hallways or corridors in the out of your room. The duvets are also ready, however you are responsible to maintain them porperly and clean them thoroughly as they are specifically tailored for the bed model extra king size. The cleaner can help you place them on when you need.
You will be sharing a very comfortable kitchen and cozy lounge area with a smart TV mounted on the wall, with the range of options including Apple TV, Netflix and so on. The blackout curtains are in each room ensuring good night sleep and the area is very quiet so there is no noise neither during day or night. There is digital portaphone for answering the doors and a camera to see who is infront of the building. It is very well secured despite being in a very safe area as it was a wish of my parents when I was a female student myself living there on my own. You will be given your keys and I am guaranteeing you a very cozy stay and feel-like-home vibes, a rarety to find in an often noisy and lonely-feeling London accomodations.
