Entire 2-Bed Flat to Rent in Belsize Park

I'm the current tenant of a 2-bed flat on Haverstock Hill (literally seconds from Belsize Park tube station), and am looking for a flatmate to share the flat. I've been renting the property for over 5 years now (since August 2010) and love the flat / area as you'll probably understand why.

I have been seconded by my job to Singapore for between 12-18 months hence, will only be in the flat for about 1 week every other month.

Hence, you will have the entire flat to yourself most of the time while I keep my room locked to ensure I have a flat to stay if ever I am in town. Therefore, the ideal flatmate will be someone who does not mind living in the flat by themselves. Of course, when away I will be available on Skype/FaceTime for any queries (and the landlord is local as well).

The available room is a Double, with a 32-inch LCD TV (wall-mounted), closet space, bookshelf and desk.

Just for clarity, the specified rent is inclusive of 50% of fixed bills such as Sky TV (Full package) and Broadband (Unlimited). I will pay the other 50%. Utility bills and landline are not included in the rent as they vary by usage and are billed quarterly. Because the incoming tenant will have the flat to themselves mostly, you will solely be responsible for Utilities (Water, Energy). Of course, for any month I happen to be in town and in the flat, I will split the Utility bills for that month pro-rata to how many days I was around.

There is the option of keeping my cleaner who comes every week and charges £15 per hour for 2-3 hours for everything (laundry, ironing, dishes, household, etc.).

The flat is literally steps from Belsize Park tube station, and opposite several cafes, cinema (Everyman), restaurants (GBK, Giraffe, Franco Manca, Pizza Express, Chez Bob, etc.), grocery stores (Thornton Budgens, Londis), petrol station, Starbucks, Costa, Post office (closes at 11pm), 2 Dry cleaners, etc.

It is a 2-bed flat with a 50-inch Plasma in the Living room, Home Cinema surround sound, the full Sky TV package (Entertainment, Sports, Movies), unlimited wireless Broadband, Landline, and separate kitchen and bathroom. Living room also has dining area for 4-5.

It is also a 5-7 min walk to Hampstead High street for shopping, etc. Close to Royal Free hospital and bordered by Primrose Hill, Swiss Cottage, Hampstead Heath, and Camden Town.

I'm a very tidy and social flatmate who is easy to live with (although I won't be around). I currently work in finance – not really fussed about what line of study / business / work you're into - as long as you're social, TIDY, and easy-going.
