High-quality king-size bed with luxury mattress. Lots of natural light as it has large windows. 120mbps Virgin WiFi with excellent reception through the house.

The house has three floors: The kitchen and living room are on the first floor, and is very spacious, bright and has a cute balcony. See the floor plan in the photos.

The kitchen features all modern conveniences including a microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher.

AREA
This is a mews house on a very lovely calm street very close to Chalk Farm, Primrose Hill, Belsize Park & Swiss Cottage. The area is a popular area to live in, some famous people who we saw recently and probably live around here are Tom Hiddleston, Helena Bonham Carter, Tim Burton, and David Williams!

The house is situated in Steeles Village with a few good pubs and cafes. dry cleaner, Tesco, Starbucks, some good coffee shops, and local grocers are on England's Lane, which is a short 3-minute walk.

Nearby is Primrose Hill, about a 10-minute walk away. In case you don't know it, it's a lovely park with a really good view of London, great for picnics and Sunday afternoons in the sun. There are lovely summer markets around the park.

A very short walk to Chalk Farm station - Northern line (5 mins walk)
There is a bus stop next to the house (±1 minute) with busses taking you to Central London or Hampstead Heath.

This is a calm, welcoming home shared by people who value good company, personal space and a relaxed way of living.

I work as a filmmaker and creative project designer. Outside of work, I enjoy surfing, practising kendo, travelling and exploring new ideas. Home is where I recharge — cooking a good meal, inviting friends over from time to time, or settling down with a film after a busy day.

Elaine is an actress working in theatre. She speaks English, French, Spanish and Mandarin, and brings an international perspective to the house. Between rehearsals and performances, she enjoys the calm rhythm of home just as much as I do.

We’re both fairly independent and have our own lives, but we enjoy living with people who are friendly, considerate and happy to stop for a chat in the kitchen or share the occasional meal when everyone’s around.

The house has an easy-going atmosphere — sometimes sociable, sometimes wonderfully quiet — and we like that balance.

Many of our previous housemates stayed for several years, and a few have become close friends. We think that’s a reflection of the kind of home this has become.

You’ll also be sharing the house with Papaya, our affectionate cat and self-appointed Head of Household.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who wants a home rather than simply a room.

Ideally, you’re considerate, tidy, emotionally mature and comfortable sharing a space while respecting everyone’s independence.

Whether you work in the creative industries, academia, technology, healthcare or somewhere completely different isn’t important. What matters most is that you’re thoughtful, open-minded and easy to live with.

If you enjoy good conversation, a peaceful home and a household where people genuinely respect one another, you’ll probably feel very comfortable here.
