Room in large 3 bed friendly house Bermondsey

Hi everyone,

We have a furnished single room available in a bright and centrally located 3 bed house less than a one minute walk from Bermondsey tube station.

We are two women aged 24 and have been friends since school. Looking for a nice new housemate to join us!

Move in date is very flexible, any time from mid-July to September 1st.

The house has 2 loos, spacious kitchen and lounge, both with access to the front and back gardens respectively. Parking is also available with a permit.

The room has a single bed but there is ample storage both in the room as well as around the house. Note since we took the video we have moved a chest of drawers into the room (shown in the pics).

Heating and hot water are included in the rent so it’s lovely and toasty in the winter.

Nearby is Bermondsey tube station (less than 1 minute walk!) which has direct access to central London and Canary Wharf on the Jubilee Line. There are also good bus links to Waterloo, Elephant and Castle, London Bridge, Canada Water and Canary Wharf. We are also a 5 minute walk away from the Thames!

An ideal housemate would be kind, friendly, and keep shared spaces clean. You’ll find us eating in the garden or watching TV in the sitting room, sometimes our friends will join in the evenings and weekends too and you’d be welcome to join.

Lucy works as an Assistant Editor and loves space, gigs and books. Vaish is a civil servant and loves sewing, taking ages to cook one meal, the West Wing and the Mindy Project.

Please note students will need a Guarantor or can pay rent on a 6 monthly basis. The Guarantor needs to be someone living in the UK, but doesn't need to be a British citizen.

There is also a small desk that fits nicely in the room if you need to work/ study from home and would rather work in your room than the dining room table.
