Cosy room in Bermondsey

Hi future housemate!

We are looking for you as sadly our current flatmate is soon moving out. Your new room may not be incredibly big, but it is cosy and quiet. It is equipped with a double bed, a built-in wardrobe, a large and a small set of drawers, plus a desk and a chair. The room is on the first floor, away from the kitchen and living room on the ground floor. We have an agreement directly with the landlord, who is a lovely person and a great handyman – you will be paying him directly £610 per month, plus £615 refundable deposit. Electricity, water, council tax, wi-fi & TV licence are extras (£90-£100) but gas is included. The room will be available from 01/12 and is for long-term tenancy only.

We are a household of two girls, one Italian and one Bulgarian, in our late 30s. We are both professionals, getting on with our busy lives, and we trust you will be respectful of each other's need for winding down after a hard day at work, but we also very much enjoy hanging out together from time to time, having a chat or a meal or a run in the nearby park. Ideally, you are a working professional, tidy and friendly who is looking to share a home as we treat the house like such and would love for you to feel and do the same.

About the flat: 8 minute walk from Bermondsey tube station (15 from Tower Bridge, 25 from London Bridge) and all necessary local shops (Tesco, Iceland, Poundland, Co-operative within 3min of walking) and buses around the corner – including 24 hour supermarket that we all adore! Refurbished and refurnished in 2009 (kept very well since), with a combined open plan kitchen and living room on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms and a bathroom (with a bath!) upstairs. Garden out front (great for summer BBQs when the weather allows) and lots of extra storage space.
