Description
Hello,
My name is Alice. I have a double room with ensuite available to move in on the 1st August. My current flatmate is sadly moving out of the UK after 2 years of living together.
The flat is very spacious (83sqm) and located in North Bermondsey, 10/15 min walk from both London Bridge and Bermondsey tube. It is part of a lovely block and overlooks a small canal off the Thames.
It is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom with balcony, a large separate kitchen, and has both a washing machine and a dishwasher (and quick broadband with hyperoptic). It comes with an allocated underground parking space, which I am not using currently, and protected bike racks. No TV, but a great projector / sound system combination, turning the everyday movie night into quite the experience.
About myself, I am a 26yo Belgian and have been working in London as an economic consultant focused in sustainability for the past few years. I normally go into the office most days. I like to be active after work, with most of my week evenings busy either training in Brazilian jiu jitsu / judo, or going to tango evenings. In the rest of my free time, I like to hang out with friends, explore London through its art and music scene and I try to squeeze in week(ends) trekking trips as feasible throughout the year. All the above can be a lot, so I greatly enjoy being a couch potato from time to time to recover...
I am a considerate flatmate, keen to respect people’s boundaries and be able to communicate well. I like to keep the flat clean and tidy and be mindful of noise. I am looking for someone like-minded.
I also like hosting dinners or movie nights occasionally, so I don’t mind people coming over, as long as it is mostly pre-agreed.
All in all, I am searching more for someone that would want a ‘co-habitation’ set-up rather than a ‘communal’ living situation. That being said, I am very sociable, always enjoy a good conversation or hang-out, and would love to get to know my flatmate over dinner/coffee 😊
Please let me know if you would be interested and/or have any questions. I have more photos of the place I am happy to send. I can organise viewings - keen to also use the opportunity to get to know one another and see if we could be a match in terms of lifestyle (could also be done on zoom).
Cheers
