Description
What we have to offer -
A spacious (2, 500 sq ft) lovely, quirky home with a private yard - the photos don't do the place justice nor do they give you the right idea of the size of the place. Fibre Optic Broadband, (all bills, kitty (loo roll, salt, sauces etc are included in price), Total price advertised is all you pay lovely house mates and a piano if you happen to play (Sorry it's horribly out of tune, but so is our singing). We're aged between 28 and 37, all house broken and friendly. Some of us work from home as we're a live/work warehouse. Due to this being a place of work as well as a home it is NOT a party warehouse. We're all quite social and have the odd games night, house meal, kitchen disco or watch movies together (we do consider ourselves to be a family) but we also have our own lives too - we'd love someone who would like to join us for such times. We work in fashion, Communication, Film, Theatre stage management, TV production, and a paramedic. There are also lots of other creative people living and working in the yard.
The local area -
We are 15 mins walk from Bermondsey Tube Station, 10mins from South Bermondsey train station (both 1 stop to London Bridge), 15mins walk to Surrey Quays overground and 2 mins to Old Kent Road where you can catch a bus every minute or so that gets to Elephant Castle you in 15 mins.
We’re 25 mins walk to Bermondsey Street with all it's lovely restaurants, pubs and shops, 15mins walk to Peckham with plenty of pop ups and drinking holes both roof top and on the ground, only 20mins walk to the river. A giant Asda (and McDonalds) is about 5 mins walk away and the buses on Old Kent Road can get you to central London in 25 mins! We have 2 large parks about 10/15mins walk away. So although we're not the greatest part of London at first glance, we're actually well connected to get around and pretty damn close to the centre for when only a taxi will do. One room is large and has High Beamed Ceilings, One is a two floor room, perfect for workspace/live and or your own living room,
What we want -
A sociable, easy going, respectful human is the ideal - If you happen to be creative then that would be a big plus!
If you want anymore info or to arrange a viewing please give us a message with some details about yourself. - It'll be the resident Kiwi, Ayla who contacts you so expect a bit of banter.
