Sublet On Barge October-January

I am looking for a practical, reliable and community minded person to sublet my double room for three months while I'm away travelling. The room will be available from October 1st 2022 - January 5th 2023 with the option to extend a week or so either side at no extra cost. The rent is £675 per month plus bills, which in the winter come to around £50 a month. As per subletting rules personal items will be removed from room. The boat has a big kitchen, two living rooms, two bathrooms and a communal study, as well as a deck where we grow plants and veg, and watch sunsets. It is part of a moorings in Bermondsey with incredible views of Tower Bridge, floating gardens and a common deck. It's a ten minute walk from both Bermondsey tube and London Bridge. You would be living with two legends, Ellis (32) a software developer and master tinkerer, and Eugene (30) a tree surgeon and council worker. The moorings is a tight knit community with a diverse set of characters, and there's always stuff going on such as play reads, gatherings, life drawing, book group with the occasional major film shoot thrown in for good measure!
I have lived here for two years and adore this wonderful place, and am keen to share the experience with someone enthusiastic about boat and community life. Gumption towards the more practical elements of living on a boat (sea legs, winter temperature and pump out) is also a must! If you are considering the boat life then this is a great opportunity to try it out, and also experience a unique Christmas and New Year.
