Places like London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Waterloo, Westminster, Canary Wharf, Shoreditch, Liverpool Street, the City are also just 15 to 30 minutes commute.
The house is in an area of quiet residential Bermondsey where "Brute Architecture" buildings are soothed by tree-lined streets! The overall vibe around is of unpretentious authenticity that we love! Access to nearby high streets and weekly markets along with quietude of a no-fuss residential neighborhood vibe makes the location to strike a right balance between an everyday convenience and restfulness!
We do like more of a respectful home vibes where we happen to know each other.
I am looking for friendly, tidy, and respectful people who appreciate living in this South East part of London.
The location is perfect in terms of both accessibility to central London/key areas and availability of wide range of amenities/hangout places/fun activities in close proximity!
The rooms benefits from abundant sunlight including from floor to roof windows. Not only its mood enhancing abundance of natural light throughout the day keeps you sparky and upbeat.
Now about rooms:
Room 1 is of the extra generous (very very large) size along with important amenities like modern, height-adjustable work station, easy/casual outdoor furniture , and multiple choices of storage like wardrobe, underbed/overhead storage spaces, and a chest of drawers)... allows you multiple personalization of the space to suit you!
Room 2 is a large double room with two large windows. So it has abundant natural light throughout the day. It is fully furnished with wardrobe, study/work desk
Room 3 is a large single room. You can't miss the sunrise from this room as the first rays of the day will visit you from its east facing window! Quite cosy but from floor to ceiling multi tier storage and wardrobe. Fully furnished including with work/study table and chair.
Room 4 is self-sufficient but smaller single room. Fully furnished including with desk and chair. It has its own built-in wardrobe and a window overlooking the streets and greenery outside. It would suit a student who doesn't have a lot of superfluous belongings and is looking for a cosy room for a peaceful stay
The flat has an adequately equipped kitchen and a little extra open and secure space in the front (bestowed as an advantage of being a desirable corner flat on the first floor).
We don't have a separate living room but there are a lot of places to hangout nearby including cool cafes and large green spaces.
Southwark Park is just 10 minutes walk, and an ideal place to spend time with tree and wildlife. This is a huge park with a range of offerings including its wildlife garden, a boating lake and an art gallery, sports facilities, and a program of events.
Multiple weekend markets and street markets in the vicinity includes: Big Sunday Food Market at Deal Porter Square, Maltby Street Markets know for their artisanal brews, Bermondsey High Street known for its cafes, galleries and museum). Surry Quays shopping centre is also just 15 minutes walk away.
Bermondsey underground, Surrey Quay, Canada Water are all walkable. There is a bus stop just a few minutes from where you get direct buses to central London.
