Double room, great location with relaxed flatmates

A fully furnished room with natural light coming in, with a double bed, a chest of drawers, a desk and two built-in cupboards for storage.

The room is in a flat on the first floor. The flat has separate bathroom and toilet. We've got super-fast broadband internet. We have the luxury of a gas hob in the kitchen and a spacious living room to relax in!

You'll be in a prime location, just 5-7min walk from Bermondsey tube station and c.15min walk from London Bridge station, making it super easy to get about London quickly and conveniently. The happening Bermondsey Street is merely 12-15min walk from the flat. The foodie heaven Maltby Street Market is literally 4min walk away and the famous Borough Market is 20min walk away.

A bit about us: You'll live with Gurinder and Matt. Gurinder is a Personal Trainer who helps people in chronic pain get fit, healthy and pain-free again. Matt is an IT Consultant turned trainee Psychotherapist who spends half his time living here in the City and the other half out in the Country. Gurinder's lived in this flat for 9 years and Matt for 6 years, so it's a pretty stable living environment!

We're a couple of relaxed, good-natured guys with varied interests/hobbies, from sports, martial arts and hiking to movies, reading, podcasts, cooking and comedy (watching and we actually perform, too!).

We respect our living space. We like our flat to feel like a home and we're looking for a flatmate on that same level: chill vibes, clean, neat & tidy, and socially intelligent.

Our preference is for a female flatmate because of the diversity of perspective this brings to the living dynamics and environment - in all the time we've lived here, that's been the gender split. Also, we don't drink alcohol. You don't need to be teetotal, but if you're a big drinker then this may not be the household for you.

Bills are on top of the rent, which currently amount to c.£140 per month all in (council tax, utilities, Internet, water, cleaner).
