Description
I live in Great Court Student Accommodation, Bermondsey London.
I am looking for someone to take over my tenancy as I am leaving early. The room will be available to you from 01/07/24 - 06/09/24.
I have kept the room spotless, I am a very tidy and particular person!
The room has a double bed with underbed storage, a desk, built-in wardrobe. The private bathroom attached to the bedroom is very modern too with a shower and hot water.
The building itself is very new, only open 3-4 years.
The shared kitchen is spacious with modern appliances and decor, including 2 fridges, 2 ovens, a flatscreen tv and large dining table.
The building also has a small communal gym, laundry room, study room, cinema room and pool table.
The current roommates are respectful and friendly.
There are 8 in total in the flat.
It is a quiet flat, everybody keeps to themselves.
Rent is £285 per week.
This is lower than £309— what rent has increased to for new tenants.
However, you can get it for cheaper as you will be taking over my old tenancy!
Great Court will handle the payments and protect your deposit.
This is student accommodation with 24/7 staff and nightime security.
There is an onsite maintenance man and cleaner.
Bills and WiFi included.
This is a modern, clean, efficient and safe accommodation.
The location of this accommodation is ideal for exploring London.
There are many busses serving the area, including 2 right outside the front door, including the 381 to Waterloo Town Hall (5 min walk from London Eye).
Also the 453 bus goes to Chinatown or the 63 goes to King's Cross.
Due to the excellent bus links, I often save money on commute compared to taking tube everyday.
However, Bermondsey tube station is a 20 minute walk or 8 minute bus ride away if needed!
Bermondsey Stn is only one stop away from Zone 1.
Therefore central London is easily accessible.
The local area itself has markets, takeaways and large supermarkets.
Overall, I would describe this accommodation as highly convenient and comfortable. The location was excellent for me to travel to University by bus. The facilities on-site are amazing—I cancelled my gym membership as there is a 24 hour small gym on-site. The staff are very efficient and diligent. The building is very secure from security to parcel lockers. This is a premium student accommodation which has proven to be worth the cost from my experience. I am sad to be saying goodbye to my room, it's very cosy and I have kept it spotless! However I must return home!
Anybody is welcome here for summer—you just need to be a registered student!
