Hi,

I’m moving out of my current room and looking for a girl only to replace me. On reading the description if you’re interested please send in a short description about yourself. What you do for work, for fun etc etc for us to know you better.

The Room:

It is a very spacious double room with a window overlooking Bermondsey High Street. It’s big enough to fit a big desk and office chair and still have room to move around. I work hybrid and it’s comfortable.
The rooms gets ample sunshine and ventilation. It comes furnished with a bed, mattress, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a mirror.
There’s multiple ways you can artange the furniture according to your preferrnce and usage. It’s got ceiling lights and yellow wall mounted bedside lights as well.

The House:

The house is a three bed apartment on the second floor of a building. We have an open plan kitchen , dining and living area. We have a very spaceous bathroom with a shower, bath and loads of storage. Even though it’s one bathroom for three people we never have a rush or any chaos. The kitchen has all amenities with enough storage for all of us. There’s a washing machine, oven, fridge, microwave etc. Incase anyone’s struggling we all share space or make space.

We don’t have a lift or disabled access unfortunately. Only stairs. It’s a quiet building with calm people around. We have a large front yard/balcony for our use.

The Location:

The location is absolutely fantastic. It’s a 10-minute walk from Bermondsey station on Jubilee Line. It’s a 17-minute walk from Surrey Quays station on the overground. There are multiple bustops in front of the house or a 5-10 min walk away. Tower bridge is a 20 minute walk. Southwark park is a 15minute walk away. There’s also Santander bike stations around.

There is a Tesco, Iceland, Poundland and multiple other shops just down the stairs including a couple of 24-Hour shops.

There are innumerable pubs right next to the house and within a 10 - minute walk radius. Loads of places to eat in or takeaway.

The Flatmates:

You’ll be sharing the house with two girls who are in the age group 23-26. Both professionals, work hybrid and have a regular schedule. They like cooking, working out, going out for pilates, going out to food markets etc on the weekend. They’re friendly, chatty and great to be with.

Bills etc:

Bills come out to be approximately £100 every month. £8 for wifi. £11 for water. £53 council tax and I’d say keep £30 for gas and electricity. We all take responsibility of paying some bills.
In terms of house maintenance we have a weekly rota yo clean the common areas and clean up after ourselves.

Other stuff:

The agengy will require an affordability check, share code (if applicable) and references from past landlord. The deposit will be transferred directly with a confirmation to the agency.

Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a female in the age group 23-26 who is friendly and easygoing. Would be great if you work hybrid as well and enjoy similar activites as the flatmates x
