Looking for a friendly person to join our home!

I'm leaving the country and Iooking for someone to take my place in this lovely flat in Bermondsey.

The flat:
Our flat is brand new, and we are the first tenants, having moved in February this year. It's a two-storey maisonette with three bedrooms, the living room, kitchen, two bathrooms and a toilet. All the furnishings and appliances are new. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, coffee machine, air fryer, blender, rice cooker, and more, all of which you're welcome to use.
There’s also a storage cupboard next to the room and a separate laundry cupboard under the stairs. The flat boasts a large terrace with bike storage, perfect if you’re a cyclist.

The room:
It’s a spacious double bedroom with a double bed that includes extra storage, a wardrobe, and a bedside table. I also have a chest of drawers that I can leave if you'd like. The room has a floor to ceiling window so there's a lot of light. You'd share the bathroom with Swarnima.

Location:
The location is perfect, 7 min walk from Bermondsey station on the Jubilee line that takes you everywhere and has internet access! There's a great corner shop (the biggest Turkish supermarket in South London!) and a small Tesco 2 mins away. The building is located by the small high street with all the shops, pharmacy, barbers, nail salons, cafes you need, but the flat is at the back, overlooking a small park so it's nice and quiet. There are plenty of great bakeries nearby if you're in the mood for fresh sourdough in the morning, and Bermondsey Street with its fantastic restaurants, Maltby St Market, Spa Terminus Market or the Arch Climbing Wall are all within a walking distance.

Flatmates:
You’ll be living with two lovely, professional women, Jodie and Swarnima. We occasionally host dinner parties, but we respect each other’s privacy, and the flat is mostly quiet during the week—it’s not a party house. We keep the space clean and organized and are looking for someone who shares those values.

Bills:
The rent is £1,000 per month, plus £190 for bills, which include water, heating, council tax, broadband, and house supplies (like cleaning products, basic spices, olive oil, etc.). We also have a lovely cleaner who comes once a week, and that’s included in the price for the common areas.

Who we are looking for:
We’re looking for a friendly, considerate person who wants to make this place their home. LGBT-friendly.
The contract runs until 24 February 2025, and we plan to extend it. Ideally, we’re looking for someone long-term, but if you’re only interested in renting from 24 November 2024 to 24 February 2025, that’s also fine. The room should be available by around 15 November.
