Spacious Double En-Suite room available to rent from end of January 2025 onwards. My current flatmate is moving out, and I am looking to extend the current lease for a minimum of 1 year.

The flat is fully furnished and the landlord is very responsive and happy to help if there are any issues. The room has a double bed, a side table, a clothes rack, along with a built-in closet. It has an en-suite with a shower with a spacious storage (a bath is available in the common bathroom). There is also an additional toilet to share which is handy when you have visitors (so 2.5 bathrooms in the flat). There is a picture of the layout in the photos, the en-suite room is the bigger room at the bottom of the photo (second floor).

I have lived here for 2 years and love it - there is a concierge in the next building and an on-site gym available to use for all residents. There is also a communal rooftop which I often use in summer as it has great views of London.

Bills come up to about £150 per month (council tax, internet, electricity and water). It is a new build so it stays pretty warm in winter - I have not once turned on the heating in the two years I have lived here. It is a safe building as I have not had any parcels gone missing and it is very quiet (well insulated so you don’t really hear the neighbours).

I am usually in the office 2-3x a week (work in advertising), and I am hoping my future flatmate is also flexible with their WFH set up. The room is pretty spacious so you can fit a desk & chair. The flat is fully furnished, but I also have a few appliances/cutlery that are mine, so ideally the new tenant doesn’t have too much stuff to move in with as I am happy to share.

There is an ASDA & McDonalds across the road and plenty of buses that take you into central London. South Bermondsey train station is a 10 mins walk away and Bermondsey underground station is a 18 mins walk away (or a short bus ride).

The flat is home to me, so I appreciate a clean and respectful environment, and I am looking for a flatmate that appreciates the same. The shared living space is the place to socialise and hang out (with a few drinks or over a meal).
