There's a double room going in our professional house share in Bermondsey at the middle of April!

Location:
The house in down a quiet residential street in Bermondsey, not far from the beer mile. It's a great location for getting into the city as we're basically in Zone 1 already - London Bridge Station can be walked to in about 25-30 mins or on the bus in about 20 mins! The famous Bermondsey Street and all its amazing restaurants is about a 20-25 minute walk away, and Maltby Street which has a lovely market on Sundays is about a 20 minute walk away. Burgess Park and Southwark Park are both about a 15 minute walk away. Bermondsey Underground (Jubilee line) is about a 15-20 minute walk away and South Bermondsey (national rail) is about a 20 minute walk away in the other direction.

House:
It’s a very spacious 5 bedroom house with a huge open plan kitchen/dining area with a TV - a great space for cooking and hosting! Has everything you need including a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher etc. There are bi-folding doors that open into a large garden area, where there’s garden furniture, a BBQ, and sunlounger chairs for when the weather gets warmer. There’s also a separate living room at the front of the house, with sofas and another TV, so plenty of space to chill in the house. One bedroom is downstairs, with a downstairs toilet and shower, and the other 4 bedrooms are upstairs where the main bathroom is which has a bath and shower. There’s a studio flat at the bottom of the garden that the landlord owns which is self-contained and is rented out separately and has a separate entrance. There’s also a bike shed at the side of the house for anyone to store bikes.

Room:
It’s a cosy double room at the front of the house with a built in wardrobe, with enough room for a small desk if anyone is WFH. There’s an additional chest of drawers in the hallway for extra storage for whoever takes the room. The room is fully furnished (comes with double bed & mattress, chest of draws, built in wardrobe and full length mirror).

Rent:
Rent is £760 pcm, including all bills (that’s heating, water, wifi, TV licence) - an absolute bargain!! The landlord is lovely (not always true in London) and lets us having the heating as warm as we want it and our house is amazingly well-insulated so it remains toasty throughout the winter months. We also pay an addition £20 per month into the house ‘pot’ which covers the cost of shared household items such as toilet roll, cleaning supplies etc., as well as a fortnightly cleaner called Trevor who is the loveliest man in the world.

Housemates:
You’ll be sharing with 4 other professionals in their 30s - all working full-time and all lovely! We all met on spareroom and have a very chilled, relaxed atmosphere in the house so looking for someone to fit that laid back vibe :) Would prefer a male to keep the balance of the house and ideally someone in their 30s.
