Large double room in lovely Bermondsey flat with big living room + access to outdoor space — move in May!

Hi! I’m sadly moving out of our Bermondsey flat at the end of the month, so we’re looking for someone great to take over my room from May.

It’s a really spacious double bedroom with a big built-in wardrobe, desk, bookshelf, and a double bed. The room gets loads of light through the big windows, and there’s plenty of extra storage around the flat too, which has been super handy.

The flat itself is bright and friendly, with a large living room with plants and a dining table, a good-sized, well-equipped kitchen (complete with a washing machine and dishwasher), and a bathroom shared between housemates. There’s also a lovely outdoor shared green space and a small patio/garden, which gets afternoon sun.

Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. We’re a 5-minute walk to Bermondsey station, about 15 minutes to Rotherhithe, and just a couple of minutes from the Thames Path — great for morning walks or evening strolls. Bermondsey Street, London Bridge, the Beer Mile and Maltby Market are all nearby, and there are loads of buses a few minutes away.

You’ll be living with a friendly housemate who’s lived here a while and enjoys cooking and relaxing at home or at the pub with housemates, but also likes to have some downtime and get out for hobbies. We’re also filling the smaller double at the same time, so you’d be moving in alongside someone new!

We’re looking for housemates who are sociable and enjoy the occasional meal, drink, or movie night together, but also respect each other’s space and quiet time when needed. We want a relaxed and easy-going home, not a party house, where we can all feel comfortable and happy.

We’re aiming for viewings in mid-April, looking for a May move-in to take on the contract, with the option to renew in November.

Rent is £800 plus around £100–130 for bills, which includes water, electricity, council tax, internet, and even a monthly cleaner. Deposit is £744.26. The flat also has a large TV in the lounge for shared use with most streaming services.
