Great Park View Double Bedroom in Bermondsey

Hi,

Our housemate Abigail is sadly moving out to Edinburgh for the last year of her visa and we are looking for a replacement for her park view, double bedroom in the emblematic Kirby Estate.

The housing estate is known for its sports celebrations and humble, yet lively community. It is located at a very central location, only a few minutes away from the Jubilee Bermondsey tube station, but it is a closed / courtyard estate, so it does not feel too exposed to the main street. The neighbours are very friendly, in general the place feels very friendly and safe.

The flat is a maisonette - 3 double bedrooms are located at the highest level, while the generous living room / dining, kitchen and bathroom are on the second floor of the estate. The bedroom is facing Southwark park.

Gurkaran and I are both professionals - I work as an architect, while he is a massage therapist. We usually hang out in the evenings, enjoy a game of chess every now and then, watch a movie, or have a drink at the end of a long day. We both like cooking and make sure to keep the space tidy and clean! We are looking for a like-minded, respectful person.

We both know the area very well (I have lived in and around for several years) which is amazing for long walks along the river and the parks. We'd love to tell you more if you come over!

The posted rent is our current rent - we hope it remains the same!
Bills are not included, typically come at ~120 for council tax, 45 for broadband, ~165 for gas and electricity, ~40 for water split between the 3 of us,
...so ~125 per person per month.

The letting agency will require an employment check, current landlord references and bank statements from the past few months.
