We have an enormous ensuite double bedroom with a private bathroom on the third floor in a refurbished modern red brick terraced house in SE16. The room is c 25 sqm and occupies the entire third floor.
The house has five bedrooms (all ensuite), a large open plan living room/kitchen, and a second separate kitchen (please see floorplan). Each bedroom has its own private bathroom or is an ensuite. There is a sizeable garden for BBQs, and a shared motorcycle garage for general storage. There is also a shared parking space on the driveway of the house.
The house is very close to the Thames, so there are spectacular views of Tower Bridge less than 30 metres from the house.
Bermondsey tube station is around a five minute walk from the house. The area also has a Sainsbury's Local within a couple of minutes walk, Tesco Extra (near Canada Water), and is rich in culture and history (the Mayflower pub is close by, which was the original mooring point of the Pilgrim Fathers' Mayflower ship back in the 16th century).
The housemates are considerate young professionals from a wonderful mix of international backgrounds: Ireland, Brazil, the UK, and Australia. The current couples is moving out to live by themselves as they will be both WFH.
The kitchens are fully equipped with a gas (or induction) hob, double oven, and several large fridges and freezers. The living room area has a 58 inch Samsung Smart TV, coffee table and two large Chesterfield sofas, along with a separate dining table and benches.
The bedroom has a king-size bed, bedside table, desk, chair and a large wardrobe. The ensuite bathroom has a toilet, sink, mirror cabinet, and shower.
All bills are included in the rent. Superfast Hyperoptic fibre broadband is also included. We also have an excellent cleaner, who comes once a week.
The room is £1,600 pcm for single occupancy, with all bills included. For double occupancy, the rent would be £1,850 pcm (with bills included). The room is available from 3 October 2025.
We are the owners of the house, so you'd be dealing directly with the landlord, and there are no hidden charges whatsoever. Any maintenance issues will also be fixed promptly.
