We're looking for someone to take on our spacious and furnished double room in a modern Bermondsey apartment – Available 5th December 2025 to 5th March 2026, with a possibility to resign when the new lease starts in March 2026.
🏠 About the flat
We have a fully furnished double bedroom available in our modern three-bedroom apartment in Bermondsey Central (SE1), located on the upper ground floor of a secure gated development right next to Maltby Street Market and the Beer Mile, and just 10 mins walk to London Bridge and Bermondsey stations.
You'll be sharing a bright, open-plan kitchen/living area with all modern appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine/dryer.
The flat has two bathrooms, so you'll be sharing the large main bathroom with just one other person.
The development also has a video entry system and an on-site caretaker (great for parcel deliveries).
🛏️ The room
The room is warm, quiet and gets plenty of natural light. It's a great spot to WFH and made even sweeter with the french bakery on the doorstep. This large double room comes with a double bed and huge wardrobe. The desk, office chair and chest of draws in the photos don't come with the room but the current flatmate is happy to pass them on for cheap!
🔑 Tenancy info
We deal directly with the landlord, and having lived here for nearly 4 years, have developed a great relationship with him. We’re looking for someone to take over the last few months of the contract as the current flatmate is leaving the country. There could be a possibility to extend but that would be a separate conversation with the landlord.
Rent: £1100 per month (excluding bills, approx. £100-150 per month inc. Council Tax Band E)
Deposit: £1010 (Based on original deposit from 2022)
Move-in date: From 5th December

We've lived here for a number of years and love the area. Both of us are friendly 30 y/o professionals working centrally in London and we enjoy a sociable and relaxed home. We’re both sporty (running, rugby, gym, cycling, golf etc) and like a good balance of socialising but also appreciate a chilled night in. We usually WFH a couple days a week too.
