🏡 Room Available in Bermondsey/London Bridge Flat

Hello!

We’re Tom and George, and we’re looking for a new flatmate to replace our friend Katy, who’s moving to Australia later this year.
The room will be available from 30th December, and the current contract runs until June 2026 (though we expect it’ll move to a rolling contract due to the new Renters’ Rights Act).

📍 About the Flat

The flat is in an amazing location, right next to Maltby Street Market and surrounded by loads of great pubs and restaurants.
We’re roughly midway between London Bridge and Bermondsey stations - about a 10–15 minute walk to each.

It’s on the 4th floor (with a lift) and has a balcony and great views, including the Shard from the kitchen! The living room and kitchen are open-plan, and it’s beautifully bright throughout.

You’d be sharing one bathroom with George (Tom has an ensuite). The landlord is fantastic and very responsive, and there’s also secure bike storage if you cycle.

👋 About Us

We’re family friends who’ve known each other our whole lives and have been living together in London for the past 2.5 years.

George works from home 3–4 days a week.

Tom is usually in the office full-time.

We’re both sociable and enjoy hanging out - whether that’s nights out, pub trips, or movie nights in with a new TV series.
We’d love to live with someone who’s friendly, easy-going, and up for joining in from time to time.

🛏️ About the Room

The room comes with a bed, mattress, chest of drawers, desk, and desk chair - all of which we bought ourselves.
We’re happy to sell these to you for a small amount.

There’s also a desk, so you could comfortably work from home a couple of days a week if needed.

💰 Costs

Rent: £1,120 per month
(We split rent slightly differently to reflect room sizes.)

Bills: Around £200 per month, which covers council tax, electricity, internet, and other shared costs.
