Homey, girly houseshare in Bermondsey

The house:
The House has 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom (plus an extra toilet). It includes a dishwasher, washing machine, two fridges, a huge balcony and bright & spacious living room. Bills come up to around 100 pounds/month (i. e. wifi, council tax, electricity, water). Luckily heating is included in the rent so you will be one of the few lucky people who won’t have to worry about that this winter.

We’re renting this flat over OpenRent so have direct contact with the landlord who is lovely and always sends people around to fix things when needed etc. (so you’ll also be lucky if you move in with us to be able to avoid any wild London landlord stories).

The room:
A double room with bed, wardrobe, drawers, and a desk. It has a big window and lot of natural light. Move in date is the 1st of January (can be negotiated).

The location:
The location is great and very central! 10 minute walk from Bermondsey station on the Jubilee line (one stop from London Bridge for Northern Line and National Rail services and also one stop away from the overground at Canada Water which takes you to Clapham and East London) + a 15 to 20 minute walk to London Bridge and Tower Bridge. There are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants in the are as well as grocery shops. The area is super safe - we’ve lived here for 3 years and nobody has ever had any problems coming home at night/in the dark.

A bit about us:

Bern, 26, moved over from Canada 3 years ago, stayed for the pubs, and Euro summer.
Holly, 29, matcha enthusiast and always up for a fun time.
Marcey, 26, loves being active and having a good boogey.
We do quite a lot of things together, such as getting food, watching movies or having our friends over for drinks or going on a night out (however, we’re very respectful of each other’s schedules and never continue the party at home). We would love for our new flatmate to join us for these things! It’s very important to us that everyone feels comfortable in the house - we are all very clean and respectful of each other’s space, so we would like to find someone who is on that vibe too.

About you:
We are a girls household looking for another girl who:
- is OVER 24 (if you are under 24 please don’t waste your time messaging),
- working professional (but if you work fully remote our flat might not suit you)
- is keen to also make the flat feel like home and, ideally someone who we can become friends with.

You will need to be able to provide:
- proof of income (no students)
- visa/any documents that you have a right to live/work here
- a reference from a previous landlord/agency
