I’m looking for a professional and laidback female (ideally 25-35) to take over my room in this great Bermondsey flat. I’ve lived here for the past 1.5 years and really did luck out with this place. I’m only leaving because I’m moving closer to work.

About the living situation:
- You’ll be living with another Canadian girl in her early 30s (a friend I moved here from Canada with and have been housemates with for several years). She works in finance and isn’t around a ton, but when she is, she is social up for a chat or activity.

About the flat:
- Fully furnished and fully stocked: everything in the photos stays. It was an Airbnb before us, so it came with absolutely everything you’d need + then some.

Set-up:
- 2 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a bath/shower, shared living room, lovely balcony overlooking the park, and 2 storage cupboards.
- £1,150 monthly rent each.
- Bills (split between the 2 of you; these are the totals):
Council tax: £210
Utilities: £70-130 (depending on the time of year)
Tenant insurance: £30
- Located right near Bermondsey Spa Gardens in a quiet, safe, and well-maintained neighbourhood.
- The building itself has 4 units, the others in the building are lovely people who always say hello when they walk past, and pass on our packages if they notice them laying around.
- Bus routes seconds away on Spa Road (1, 78).
- 10 minute walk to Bermondsey station (Jubilee line), 15 min walk to London Bridge station.
- Dishwasher, washing machine, central heating, and modern appliances throughout.
- Sainsbury's located on the same road, Tesco superstore 8 min walk away, Co-op 10 mins away.
- PureGym, Anytime Fitness, and 2 reformer pilates studios within minutes as well.
- Very close to Bermondsey Street which has some of the cutest bars, restaurants, and shops!

We genuinely lucked out with having an incredible landlord. She always responds immediately, comes by the same day if anything needs fixing, and checks in on us regularly in our WhatsApp chat. She’s lovely and has made renting here incredibly easy! You will be in very good hands.

The lease takeover will be immediate and goes until November 16th, 2026.

Timing:
- I’m planning to move into my new place mid to end of Jan (whenever we can find someone suitable to take the room). I’ll be in Canada for the holidays until 28th December and will set up viewings as soon as I return. If you think you’d be a good fit and the place ticks your boxes, please send me a message.
