Double Room in a 3 storey house in Bermondsey!

Hello!!

We are looking for a housemate to join 2 of us in a three-bed, three storey house on the River Thames in Bermondsey. The house overlooks Tower Bridge and is located just off Jamaica Road.

We are Pierre and Stephen. 2 gay guys who met when Stephen moved in last year and have become great friends. Stephen is 41, working in fertility, a huge fan of baking and a singer at the choir. Pierre is 31, working in finance, originally from the South of France and passions include gaming and the gym.
We have an extended group of friends that we are both part of, and we would love to welcome a new housemate into our group. We love to host the occasional board game nights and dinner parties.

We are looking for a housemate that wants to become a friend. We enjoy eating together on occasion, having political debates, teaching each other new words, and getting highly competitive over Exploding Kittens and we want a housemate to be a part of that.
We of course respect each others space, and definitely have time to ourselves.

A few things we are looking for:
- We would prefer someone who isn't working fully remote, Pierre works hybrid of 3 days in the office and Stephen works at the lab everyday, and the same or similar preferred.
- We don't mind smokers/vapers but no smoking or vaping inside the house or the bedroom, it would be outside only.
- Although we are a quiet household we are looking for a friend and we do host our friends.
- We both have geeky streaks in our own way, so hoping to have this in common with our new housemate.
- Someone who’s clean and tidy.

House/Room Details:
Price £600 pcm. (References Required)
Small bedroom furnished with inbuilt wardrobes.
Use of a shared office with Stephen on the top floor for any homeworking etc.
Shared Bathroom with Stephen on the top floor,
Large living room and dining room with a back balcony that is beautifully furnished by our landlords.
Kitchen fully equipped with every utensil you'd want (even baking utensils)
Usual utilities - washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher.
Amazing landlords, who are highly responsive, great fun and we make sure we look after this beautiful house for them.

Bills:
We all pay £240 into a joint account which covers all bills including a weekly cleaner (Bilijana - she is queen) and all the cleaning supplies that she uses.
We reconcile once a year and then calculate any leftover and decide whether to redistibute the funds back or leave in the account.

The Area.
Situated in a quiet area, with lots of opportunities for some fresh air. Located in zone 2, with a 3 minute walk to Bermondsey Tube Station (Jubilee Line/Night Tube), 10 minute walk to Rotherhithe Overground Station (Windrush Line/ Part Line Night Service).
C10, 381, 47 and 188 main bus routes with stops just a two minute walkaway, taking you into the city to Victoria, Waterloo, TCR and Shoreditch or East to Canada Water, Peckham, North Greenwich and Bellingham.
Sainsburys Local just a 2 minute walk away and direct buses or quick cycle to Tesco Extra and Lidl in Surrey Quays. Also buses direct to Old Kent Road, with several other supermarket options.
