Double room in warehouse style building

About the flat:

Our flat is located in a warehouse style building that has been refurbished to a high standard a few years ago, just off Grange Road on a quiet side street.

There are is one double room available at the moment and we’re looking for a flatmate to sign a one year contract from 23 September (the move in date can be from around 8 September). Since we’re dealing with a private landlord there are no agency fees to be paid, which is pretty good we’d say.

About the area:

The flat is located ideally for anyone who works in the City or Canary Wharf, or wants to be right between Bermondsey Street and Maltby Street Market, with both Bermondsey tube station and London Bridge within walking distance. There are several buses going one minute away from the flat to Shoreditch, Peckham and Central, so it is easy to get pretty much anywhere.

About the flatmates:

We are three professionals in our mid-to-late twenties from Finland, France and Germany, fairly relaxed and treat our flat as a home and not just a place to crash. We would prefer to find a male flatmate to keep the balance in the house, but this is not an absolute must. Basically we’re looking for someone like-minded who enjoys the occasional beer/wine/G&T or trip to the local pubs and bars on Bermondsey Street, but not for someone who wants a party house.

As we have to pay council tax, we would prefer professionals

About the finances:

The room available is £560 per month, excluding bills, which usually come in at about 60 per month (internet, electricity and council tax).
