Shad Thames/Bermondsey double room for rent

We are currently looking for a new flatmate for a nice two bed flat just south of the river - we've been here for 4 1/2 years but unfortunately our current flatmate is taking his enormous telly and moving to the countryside (don’t panic, another enormous telly is ready to go). The room is a good size double in a spacious two bed flat to share with a restaurant manager and his girlfriend who works in fashion (cheap meals and free sunglasses!).

The flat:

A two-bed in a nice, clean well-maintained purpose built block on a quiet street just up from Tower Bridge, Bermondsey Street and Maltby Street's weekend morning market (a place where you can soothe hangovers with St John Bakery custard buns or just shake yourself back to normal with the shock-horror of buying a £17 bunch of asparagus). The flat has been well looked after and has big windows, an eat-in kitchen, separate lounge and lots of storage. The room is available from the seventh of June.

About us:

We are reasonably normal-type people and do the usual mix of serious long hour working and hanging out fun times. Sometimes we get up early, sometimes we get home late, sometimes we do both. We like drinking coffee, eating out, cooking in, climbing, bicycles, right angles (me only), t-shirts, wine and pints and all those things

About you:

Not a nutcase. Not dull. Someone who has friends, likes stuff. Someone who'll treat this flat like their home and not be recluse. Or a party tiger wildcat.

Cash money:

The rent is a bargain at £650 plus bills with the usual one month deposit.
