Hello,

I have a really lovely and homely, modern, recently refurbished, split level entire 2 bedroom flat in Bermondsey, available to rent from the 27th April 2024. Please only apply if this is a good moving and / or contract start date for you.

The flat has 2 double bedrooms with lots of storage, a large shared living room and open plan kitchen, and a nice modern bathroom with large shower. There is also a very small unofficial balcony accessed from the 2nd bedroom.

We are able to rent this flat to either 2 sharers, a couple or a small family.

The rent for the entire flat is £2000/month and you'll need to sign a joint AST contract between the 2 of you, if 2 sharers, and arrange to pay all the bills in your own names as well. Bills are around £280/ mo. I need to check the Band of the council tax with the current tenants; it's £120 / month.

There are 2 sofas in the lounge including one sofabed.

We have a fairly new washer dryer, dishwasher and fridge freezer in the kitchen as well as an oven, gas hob, toaster, microwave, and kettle.

Super convenient and just outside Zone 1, really easy to get around and a nice area - Southwark Park is also just across the road.

The flat is the river side of Jamaica Road so it's literally only a 1 minute walk to the river where you can see Tower Bridge and the whole city. :-)

You can walk to Bermondsey tube in about 3 minutes and Rotherhithe overground in 5-10 minutes. (depending how fast you walk!) ; London Bridge is only around 20-25mins walk.

It's a really nice, chilled, safe area. Surrey Quays shopping centre is within easy walking distance as well.

Ideal for someone commuting into the City / Canary Wharf as it's only 2 stops by tube from Bank and Canary Wharf and walkable to London Bridge. The Jubilee line has the night tube now as well. :-)

Surrey Quays overground and Canada Water Jubilee Line are both also only about 10 mins walk away.

On street (paid) or off street (free) parking can be organised with Southwark Council if required.

1 months rent required as a deposit, and references from current employment and current landlord required.

Minimum stay 6 months. For ideally 2 professional sharers or one couple. Can consider students with suitable UK based guarantors. We may credit check applicants to ensure affordability.

Please note that the EPC has just expired; we are getting a new one done ASAP. Since this one was done, we have replaced the boiler with a much newer one, so the rating should improve a bit.
