There is a 24-hour concierge at the back of the building, and the entry to the flat has two levels of security doors via fobs. The highlight is a 130-meter-long open-space terrace on top of the building, where you can see the spectacular 360*c view of the London skyline on the 6th and 16th floors to enjoy the sunset. In addition, there is a free gym facility in the building, bike storage, and free car parking just at the end of the road.
The flat consists of three bedrooms and three bathrooms split into two floors (2nd and 3rd floor). The entrance floor has a guest toilet and an open-plan living room with a patio balcony (south/south-east facing) while upstairs has three double bedrooms and two more bathrooms. (My partner and I live in a master en suite with a bathroom). You will be sharing the second bathroom with Igor only.
This double-size room, with a single bed, has lots of storage, underfloor heating, carpet, dimmable lighting, and all essential furniture, including a wardrobe, shoe wardrobe, PC tables and chairs. The room is north facing where you can see view of London city.
Igor is a Polish, mid-20s who works in TFL as a civil engineer, while my partner and I are in our 30s, both Chinese and work in the hospitality business. We enjoy cooking at home occasionally with a bottle of wine or two.
We are clean, quiet and respectful professionals. I am looking for someone responsible, respectful, and neat, who always keeps the flat tidy like his/her own house. I deep clean the kitchen, living room, and balcony at least once a week or two, and you need to clean your own room regularly and every time after using the kitchen and the bathroom (shared responsibility with Igor)
I know how expensive to rent a room is right now in London especially in central, and with high living costs, this price is a bargain. In summary, £850 is inclusive of absolutely everything: council tax, ultra-fast broadband (500mbp), electricity, water, plus gym, and one of the best rooftop terraces you can find in London, period.
FYI, we only had four tenants in the past seven years, so I am not in a rush just to find anyone but the right one, to settle in this beautiful home.
