This flat is situated overlooking Regents Canal and Mile End park. The flat is 10 mins from Mile End tube (Central, District, Hammersmith & city) with direct links to the city. By bicycle you can be in the city in 20 mins. Bethnal Green is a 15 min walk. Bethnal Green overground is one stop (2mins) from Liverpool St station. The canal tow path leads directly to Lime House or Islington.
The lounge takes in the morning sun through large glass windows; perfect for a morning stretch or cup of coffee and the large L shape balcony, overlooking Regents canal, sees landmarks including The Shard, Canary Wharf and Stratford Stadium. Views from the kitchen look directly up the canal towards Victoria Park; a 10 min walk away.
The concierge operates from 8am-6pm Monday - Friday and 8am-2pm Saturday. All maintenance is covered by ‘One Housing’ and fob entry to the building adds a sense of security. We are on the 2nd floor with lift and stair access. There are some excellent local grocery stores and a farmers market in Victoria Park on Sundays. The historic Palm Tree pub across the way adds some East End charm to this little piece of paradise.
The available room is a double 2m 15cm wide, 4m 40cm long, While there is no built-in wardrobe, there is a good amount of storage in the hall. The room comes with a double bed and two small shelves. The existing wardrobe, tables and shelves can be sold to the new flatmate if needed.
I’m Jenny; 35 yr. professional, looking for someone to share this space with who is like-minded. I am well-being focussed and believe home is best found when it can be a relaxed place to restore energy from the business of London life. I like to live quite minimally and like the shared space to be, clean and without clutter. I enjoy meditation, cycling, cooking, dancing, and very importantly good banter! I love the flat and believe it’s a bit of a golden ticket, especially the balcony space! Keen to hear from you if you feel the space could be suited to you too.
The move in date is flexible (only after 24 October) but ideally by end of November. I (Jenny) will hold virtual calls and initial and physical viewings will be held by former flatmate. I will then meet you in person to ensure the right fit is found.
