Large double room in Bethnal Green

Hello,

We have a large double bedroom available in our 2-level 3 bed/2 bathroom(+ 1 toilet) flat just by Columbia Road. The room will be available from the 7th May, with some flexibility, over 5 months of an existing lease with option to renew annually.

You will be sharing with Jan (Swiss) and Chris (Australian). We’re both very chilled, housetrained, hybrid wfh and keep busy climbing, gigging, travelling and everything else there is to do in London. When home there’s always a film or documentary on, something on the stove cooking and we don’t mind a beer/wine, but this is definitely not a party house. We’re looking for another friendly and housetrained professional with similar interests.

The room is a decent size at 10.5x14 ft, comes furnished with a King size bed, wardrobe, nightstand and chest of drawers, with space for additional furniture (e. g. desk for wfh). The room has a large french door that opens to a juliet balcony (we're on level 3-4 of the building, so up off the ground!). This room is not an ensuite and shares a bath/shower with only one other housemate.


The flat spans over two floors which gives it a nice spacious feel. It has a modern open plan kitchen with dishwasher / living room, big couch, TV with Disney/Amazon, etc. We also have a full balcony downstairs and there is an amazing roof terrace with great views over East London and Canary Wharf. The building has a secure cycle storage and gated entrances.

The location is great, with Columbia and Broadway markets moments away, lovely bars and restaurants, parks in walking distance (Haggerston Park, London Fields, the canal, Victoria Park) and a big Tesco only 5 minutes away. Great transport links with both the Central line and Overground less than a 10-minute walk away with bus routes on Hackney and Bethnal Green Road.

Rent is £890 + bills. Bills are roughly £135 per month which includes council tax, broadband, electricity, water, and tv licence. The deposit is £917.
