Hey hey,
From mid-October (preferred move-in date 25/26 Oct), there’s an opportunity to take over the largest bedroom in a 3-bed houseshare in an amazing location. Both my lovely housemates are sadly moving abroad but one room has already been filled. Save the date : viewings planned on 20 Sep! Expect confirmation 1 week in advance.
Our house has a sunsoaked and well-equipped kitchen, a big living room, with space for bikes, an extra desk downstairs and a small garden. A spacious furnished bedroom is available. Most existing furniture could be replaced and the windows are double-glazed.
Expect a homely place where you can enjoy breakfast outside and a chat over dinner. With previous housemates, we’ve had monthly check-ins so everyone feels comfortable with any house-related matters. A cleaner comes biweekly but there are often little gardening or DIY projects calling us.
Since filling both rooms afresh is a big change for me after 7 years in the house, I'm holding two-stage viewings before moving forward. The second viewing will be with the 3rd housemate so everyone can feel comfortable with their new living arrangement. I'm open to this being a mixed-gender household which has worked well before.
You will share with me, Katharina, 35, and Yuki, 33, who's just moving in. I manage research for a small org and usually work from home 2 days/week. My hobbies are swimming, dog sitting and cycling around East London and I travel regularly to Germany and the Netherlands. Yuki is an architect originally from Japan who loves hiking.
The house is only 5min from Bethnal Green station, 7min to Victoria Park, and all the best things East London has to offer. Cambridge Heath Overground (10min) and Stepney Green station (12min) are also close by.
Preferred move-in date is 25/26 Oct or 11/12 Oct (but not 18/19 Oct). Rent is £935 and bills are £137.32 incl. council tax, energy, water, fiber internet. We also pay around £30 p. p./month for our cleaner. TV licence is to be renewed shortly.
