Bright double bedroom available in Bethnal Green

My housemate Holly will be moving out early October to live with her partner, so her room will be free from October 6th at the latest, though there may also be some flexibility on move-in dates if you want to move in a little earlier.

The flat is in a Grade 2 listed building which has lots of natural light and incredible views across London from the balcony. It’s a great area - about 7 minutes from Broadway market, 15 minutes from Victoria Park and a less than 10 minute walk to Bethnal Green and Cambridge Heath stations. We have a lovely concierge who works in the building during the week, as well as bike storage if you cycle. The rent price includes water but not other bills (it's council tax band E), which come to around £180 extra a month.

You’ll be living with me, a 33 year old journalist working for the BBC. The flat is quite homely, so I’m looking for someone tidy, responsible and easygoing who will also want to treat the space like a home. I love cooking, fitness (hoping to do my first half marathon this year) and am out socialising a few times a week, but also really appreciate quiet nights in. The flat comes with lots of plants, so if you have some plant care knowledge that’s always a plus!
