Room in beautiful Victorian house with garden

Hello! We’re looking for a new housemate to join our lovely Victorian terrace in Bethnal Green in January.

The house is spacious and full of character, with a double reception room that’s perfect for movie nights, cosy evenings in and dinner parties. There’s a big kitchen, one bathroom with a separate toilet, a basement for extra storage, and a generous patio and garden that’s great when the weather’s on our side.

The available room is at the back of the house overlooking the garden, and is cosy and quiet. It has a double bed and a big wardrobe, and has just had a brand new radiator installed. There is also a desk in the living room if you'd like to work from home.

Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. Bethnal Green Underground and Cambridge Heath Overground are both under a 10 minute walk away, Victoria Park is just five minutes down the road, and there are loads of great pubs, bars and cafés nearby to explore.

You’d be living with Niamh and Rachel, who are both in their 30s and possibly the best housemates ever. They’re both independent, friendly people who enjoy having their own lives but also really value a comfortable, sociable home. We’ve all enjoyed movie nights in just as much as heading out together to the local pub. They’re clean and considerate, and always up for a chat with a glass of wine.

We’re ideally looking for a female housemate in her late 20s to early 40s who’s looking for more than just a room - someone who wants to settle in and feel at home. This is a liberal, LGBTQ+ house and it’s important to find someone who shares these values.

The rent is £1023 with no deposit required. Bills are not included, but generally come in at just over £100 a month or so. Council tax is Band D.
