Room to rent in Bethnal Green

I am currently abroad and thus am looking for someone to take over my lease agreement from 1 May until 31 August 2024 (option to renew lease is available, subject to negotiating with the landlord). Our household is one consisting of four postgraduate students in our late 20s and early 30s. We are an LGBT-friendly house with at least two of our household members identifying as part of the LGBT community. We share a friendly relationship as housemates, sometimes watching shows and movies on the projector in the living room (however this is not required).

The room is in the upstairs area of the property. It has a study desk, a small bedside table, a double bed (with a new bed frame). The house has two bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs), a lounge area, a kitchen, a laundry room (with both a washing machine and dryer) that leads to the garden area.

The property is under council tax band E (although we have been exempted from paying due to our student status). The house is located 6 mins walk from the Bethnal Green tube station (Central Line), 10 min walk from the Cambridge Heath overground station, and 20 min walk from the Whitechapel station. The house is also a 10 min walk from Victoria Park and a 20 min walk from the Brick Lane area. Rent is £650pcm (excluding bills) with a £980 deposit (the amount needed for the contractual handover as per the lease agreement). Bills at present do not exceed £80pcm.
