Ensuite double room in bright flat w huge balcony

After 2 very happy years, we are sad to be leaving our room in this big, bright Bethnal Green flat. One of us is starting a new job and we need to move to reduce commute time, leaving you the wonderful opportunity to live with our amazing flatmate. She works in journalism, enjoys cooking and baking, and loves to explore London. She keeps our outdoor plants blooming for months and always has great advice on interesting things to do in the city.

The flat is on the second floor, it is a fairly new build and is in good condition. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a super spacious living space with dual aspect windows (great for green things) which open out onto the largest balcony we have ever stepped out on to (please see pics). There is room out there to host a small wedding reception or just to have a picnic table, and a garden! We have a washing machine and a huge (fairly new) fridge. The room is really bright, fits a 1.60m bed easily, gets direct light in the summer afternoons, and has an en-suite bathroom with natural light / large window.

The flat’s location is amazing, at walking distance from London Fields, Broadway Market, Haggerston Park, Shoreditch and Spitalfields. Columbia Road Flower Market is just a few blocks away. There are good grocery stores just around the corner and nice cafes and pubs nearby. The closest stations are Bethnal Green, Whitechapel and Shoreditch High Street Overground. Liverpool Street is a short bus ride away.

We are looking for a professional, non-smoking person, interested in an occasional dinner with flatmate(s) –keen to try our flatmate’s great cakes! The new tenant will preferably be aged 30+ and has rented in London before, but we are open to anyone that can be the right fit. (No pets are allowed in the flat.)
